Description:
The Port of Grays Harbor is planning for upcoming facilities upgrade and improvement project at Terminal 4, Aberdeen WA. In preparation for a privately funded ship loader installation, the project, Contract No. 2260, includes approximately 40,000 feet of rail construction to accommodate unit trains and railcar storage; the repurposing of a 50-acre former casting basin site into a breakbulk cargo handling and laydown area; access and roadway improvements; and related site improvements Work items in this bid include demolition, mass earthwork, site preparation, retaining wall construction, culverting, subsurface utility work, storm drainage improvements, paving, rail construction, lighting, fencing, and a new guard station. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as specified.
