Description:
The major items of work include roadway and sidewalk reconstruction on East Main Street and portions of Auburn Avenue, new hardscape and landscaping in the B Street Plaza, a new traffic signal, upgraded curb ramps, and concrete crosswalks at the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Main Street. Additional improvements include a raised mid-block crosswalk, decorative lighting, and underground utilities including storm drainage, sewer main, watermain, and joint utility trench for third party utilities.
The work also includes demolition and disposal of the existing building at 125 E. Main Street which includes containing, removing, and disposing of regulated building materials (hazardous) from the existing building, severance of existing utilities serving the building, site restoration, and erosion control.
