Description:
The major items of work include reconstructing roadway surfaces and upgrading storm drainage, sewer, and water utilities at three locations, on 8th Street SW, work includes roadway reconstruction and stormwater drainage improvements, on 4th Street SE and S Street SE, the project includes roadway reconstruction, upgraded storm drainage with new pipe, catch basins, and manholes, sewer main and side sewer replacements with new cleanouts, and water system upgrades such as replacing cast iron mains with ductile iron pipe, new hydrants, and updated service laterals, on J Street SE, work includes roadway reconstruction, installation of speed cushions, storm drainage improvements with new pipe and catch basins, and water system upgrades involving relocation and replacement of the water main with ductile iron pipe and water meters.
