Description:
The work to be performed for this project consists of water improvements. Water main improvements include but are not limited to construction of approximately 1,340 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter DI water main, approximately 4,060 linear feet of new 8-inch diameter DI water main, approximately 60 linear feet of new 6-inch diameter DI water main, isolation valving, 116 water service connections, 11 fire hydrants, 5 combination air release/vacuum valve assemblies, 19 connections to existing water main, removal, haul, and disposal of approximately 660 linear feet of existing 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-inch diameter water main, and abandonment of existing 4-, 6-, and 8-inch diameter water main. Additional work includes temporary and permanent trench patching, a 2-inch grind and overlay, channelization, restoration, temporary erosion control, and traffic control.
