Description:
This Contract shall generally consist of installation of a three-phase 12.5kV underground distribution line, vaults, cabling, terminations, conduits, transformers and secondary pedestals, demolition of a single-phase 7.2kV overhead distribution line, and tying in existing services to the new distribution line. Work will be along Critchfield Rd in the City of Port Angeles all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

City will provide:
Sectionalizing cabinets, transformers, pole and framing hardware, riser assembly, marker ball(s), vaults, cable and cable ID tags.

Contractor to provide:
All conduit, sweeps and fittings, incidental hardware and material such as glue and tape, protection bollards, trenching, bedding, backfill, restoration, and labor and equipment, PPE, traffic control/flagging, and traffic control plans, to install an underground three-phase power system, and demolition of the existing overhead single-phase power system on Critchfield Rd, City of Port Angeles, disposal of all removed items, and site restoration.

Contractor to install:
New single-phase underground tap and transformer to feed existing customer. Replace single phase pole(s) and overhead conductor to support existing single-phase overhead tap to feed existing customer. Pull in 4/0 or 1/0 primary conductor as specified in the Plans, install city-provided cable ID tags, ground equipment, terminate and connect, according to the work requirements described below.
