Description:
The EMERY AVENUE WATER MAIN INSTALLATION project in South Prairie, WA involves installing a new water main on Emery Avenue South, between Southwest 1st Street and 3rd Street Southeast.
Principal items of Work included in the Emery Avenue Water Main Installation project are:
• Installation of approximately 630 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC C900 water main.
• Installation of valves.
• Installation of water sampling station.
• Connections to the existing South Prairie Water System.
• Abandonment of existing water mains in-place.
• Removal, haul, and disposal of existing asbestos cement (AC) water mains in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
• Asphalt concrete pavement patching and surface restoration.
