Step 5: Select "Current Projects"

You may select from the "Entire Region" (i.e. the Pacific Nortwest) or narrow
your search to just Washington, Oregon, or Alaska. If you are not in the Nortwest,
select "Other Areas". Your selection will display currently bidding projects ordered
by bid date.
As an alternative, choose "All Projects" (at the bottom of the
screen). This will give you a list of all currently bidding projects...
however, listing order is NOT by bid date.
Once you decide upon the Region, then choose the Type of construction project:
Construction
Construction includes building related construction projects.
Miscellaneous
Miscellaneous contains mostly smaller projects that do NOT include buildings
or roads. Many site and utility infrastructure projects can be found here.
Roads
Roads includes road and transportation related projects.
Depending upon your services or products, you may wish to check all three categories of
projects...OR, select the "All Projects" (at the bottom of the screen)

The display of currently bidding projects includes the projects that fit your selected criteria
for Region and Type. Notice that they are sorted by bid date.
You may manually search through the listing to find projects of interest. You may also use
your Browser's "Find" capability (by using the 'ctrl-f' keys) to search for specific
words. For example, you may search for your city name to find those projects located in your city.
As an alternative, you may select "All Current Construction" (or "All Current Miscellaneous"
or "All Current Roads"). The resulting list displays the details for each project.
As above, the projects are sorted by bid date. As above, you may manually search through the projects or
use your Browser's "Find" capability (by using the 'ctrl-f' keys). The "Find" search can be
a quick way to locate relevant projects. For example, you may search for a specification
Division number or keyword that fits your trade or product. Once you find a project of interest,
you may select "Specs" or "Plans" to view them in the Fastbid Reader.
Caution: Word searches are quick, but they may miss relevant projects due to
missing or mispelled keywords. In the end, a careful review of the details and specs
for each project is the most reliable way to locate bid opportunities.
Note: None of the projects in this Members-only area are password protected.
